Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of
Balb/c mice immunized with purified rabies virus.
Specificity:

4F1 is specific to glycoprotein.

4G4 is specific to ribonucleoprotein.

1C5cc has a virus-neutralizing activity in respect to the majority of standard RV and rabies-relative
viruses: CVS, Lagos bat, Mokola, Flury lep, Duvenhage and the field isolates.
MAb isotypes:

IgG2a for 1C5cc
IgG2b for 4G4, 4F1
Applications:

1C5cc, 4G4 and 4F1 are working in EIA

4F1 is working in Western blotting and in immunofluorescence.

1C5cc works in immunocytochemistry
