Standard for the calibration of canine NT-proBNP immunoassays
Recombinant NT-proBNP corresponds to the fragment 1-85 a.a.r. of canine proBNP and contains additional affinity tag sequence of 16 a.a.r. at the N-terminus.
Totally, recombinant NT-proBNP consists of 101 a.a.r.
Predicted molecular mass 10545 Da is confirmed by MALDI-MS.
Purity > 95 % (Tricine-SDS-PAGE).
Concentration is determined spectrophotometrically.
Immunoreactivity is confirmed by reaction with monoclonal antibodies specific to different fragments of canine NT-proBNP molecule (Cat.# 4CNT5).
Purified using tag affinity chromatography
10 mM potassium phosphate, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl.
-70 °C (-65 … -80 °C allowed)
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
It is recommended to aliquot the product after the first thawing. To prepare diluted samples of NT-proBNP it is recommended to use buffer solutions containing carrier protein and detergent (e.g. 0.05 M Tris-HCl, pH 7.8, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01 % Tween 40, 0.5 % bovine serum albumin).
